Welcome to Oakland Family Medical Center

Dr. Basil Abdo is from Irvine, California. He underwent his undergraduate training in California and completed his medical school at the University of Szeged, Hungary. He then went to Texas where he joined a postgraduate clinical research team in the Department of Gastroenterology at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston. As a Family Physician, he enjoys taking care of the whole family from newborn to grandparents and establishing a long term relationship with his patients and their families taking care of their acute and chronic illnesses.

Dr. Laura J. Crandall is a board-certified family practitioner. She completed medical school at Wayne State University and her residency at Providence Hospital. Dr. Crandall is now seeing patients in our office.
