The Female Chronic Pelvic Pain Clinic
St. John OB/GYN Professionals - Chronic Pelvic Pain Clinic
Welcome to the St. John Hospital and Medical Center Chronic Pelvic Pain Clinic. We are here to diagnose and treat pelvic pain disorders in women. Many of the diagnostic and treatment modalities can be carried out here. Some tests or treatments may require other specialists, but we will maintain the responsibility for overseeing the care required to manage your chronic pelvic pain.
Dr. Wagstaff, a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist, stays on the cutting edge of knowledge in the field of chronic pelvic pain. He can diagnose and treat pain of both gynecologic and non-gynecologic origin.
At the Female Chronic Pelvic Pain Clinic, you are seen directly by an attending physician, who will perform a complete evaluation of your pain and determine the best treatment plan. Some of the chronic pain problems we treat include chronic dysmenorrhea (painful menstrual periods), dyspareunia (pain with intercourse), and chronic pelvic and lower abdominal pain.
Treatments may be in the form of medication, dietary and lifestyle modifications, physical therapy (formal PT and home regimens), bladder irrigations, trigger point injections, and minimally invasive surgery, including robotic surgery.
